Mrs. Jessie Jones was born on November 23, 1936 to the late Joe and Margaret Pryor.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Jones, Sr, her son Arthur Jones Jr., two sisters and two brothers, a grandchild and a daughter-in-law. Ms. Jessie Jones accepted Christ as her Lord and savior at an early age.

Jessie departed this life on June 5, 2020 . She leaves to cherish her memory her children Mildred Louis and Connie Jones of Cahokia, IL, Marilyn (Charles) Bynum of Belleville, IL and her son Lance Jones Sr. of Cahokia, IL, and a very dear sister Polly Wright of Centreville, IL. She was the proud grandmother of 22 children and 44 great grandchildren and 3 great-great-great-grandchildren. Jessie spent her time loving all her children and a host of nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. She also spent time watching soap operas and caring for her family.
