Jeron Lamont Cox was born on August 8, 2007 in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2013, he was legally adopted by his grandparents, Beverly and Gregory Cox, Jr. Jeron accepted Christ at an early age. In 2015, he united with North End Missionary Baptist Church and was baptized by Pastor Paris D. Johnson Sr. In 2017, he united with Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Providence, KY. In 2022, he united with New Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. B. A. Cureton, where he served faithfully in the youth choir, praise dance and media ministry.

Jeron's formal education was in the Belleville, IL School District. He attended Belleville West Sr. High where he was a member of the Esports Team, Football Team, and the Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC).

God called Jeron home on February 3, 2024 , at 12:01 p.m. Jeron was preceded in death by his brother, James Betts III; paternal grandfather, Gregory Cox Sr. and maternal grandmother, Voncille Cox.

Jeron leaves to celebrate and cherish his memories, his parents, Gregory and Beverly Cox Jr.; two brothers, Antwuan Cox of Cahokia, IL and Devion Spears of Houston, TX; three sister, Zaria Cox, Cartavia Cox and Sarah Cox, all of Belleville, IL and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great uncles, great aunts, cousins, family and friends.
