Helen Boyd was born to the union of Walter and Pniler Cooper in Pulaski, Illinois on October 5, 1940.  treville, Illinois to the union of Michael A.

After completing high school, Helen later trained in business machines and worked in the office  at Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.

Helen loved word games and was invited to be in the National spelling.

Helen married Marion Boyd in 1981.  As a result, she gained 12 stepchildren.  He preceded her in death.

Helen loved gardening and sharing her harvest with relatives and friends.

Helen departed this life on  Friday, February 7, 2020 in Madison, Illinois.  She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Martin Cooper; her sister, Gladys Terrell and numerous other family members and friends.
