Hattie Mae Robinson was born on January 7, 1945 to the late Roosevelt and Minnie Mae Davis in Pine Bluff, Arkansas . Hattie received her education at Dupo Jr. and Sr. High School.
Hattie confessed a hope in Christ at the age of 13. At the age of 18, Hattie moved to East St. Louis, Illinois. When Hattie turned 20 years old she married Norman Robinson.
Later in life Hattie moved to another city. In 2013 she relocated back to East St. Louis, IL to be with her family. Hattie loved to sing, her friend gave her the nickname "Songbird."
Hattie was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Robinson and daughter, Freda Robinson. Hattie departed this life on December 8, 2019 in O'fallon, Illinois.
Hattie leaves to cherish her memory her children, Linetta Robinson, Johnny Lee Robinson and Stephanie Reynolds; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
