Gloria D. Gilmore was born on July 20, 1960 in East St. Louis, IL to the union of the late Wilbert and Lessie Moore, whom preceded her in death.

Gloria received her education in the East St. Louis School District at East Side High. She also received her Bachelor's Degree at SIU Edwardsville where she met the love of her life, Myron Gilmore, Sr. They were joined in marriage and unto this union was born two children, ReShawn and Myron Jr.

Gloria later attended Vatterott College and received her cosmetologist license. She loved to do hair.

Gloria had a beautiful voice. She sang in the FMT Choir most of her early Christian life. Gloria worked several jobs but her first one she loved was McDonald's in East St. Louis where she was a swing manager. She later worked at Frenchie Cleaners in St. Louis, MO and her last job was assisting a litigation case for McDonnell Douglas as attorney support.

She is preceded in death by her three brothers, Wilbert Jr., Reginald, and Tony Moore; five sisters, Ada Moore, Doris Patterson, Ethel Ayers, Tracey Moore, and Carolyn Bohanna.

Gloria D. Gilmore departed this life Wednesday morning, November 16, 2022, at the age of 62. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, ReShawn Vuletich and her son Myron Gilmore, Jr.; two grandchildren, Isis Vuletich and Autumn Vuletich; 9 brothers, Willie A. (Reco), Derrick, Gregory, Elijah, Lazeal (Joyce), Ricky, Reginald (Rep), Joe and Luther Ray (Tamara); 6 sisters, Vernita Reid (Robert), Shirley Silas, Marilyn Moore, Lessie Theresa Coleman (Benjamin), Wanda Cole, and Diane Wilson (Michael); a host of numerous aunts, uncles, and friends.
