Georgia Lee White was born on July 11, 1933 in Prichard, Alabama to the union of Leo and Ella Smith. She confessed a hope in Christ at the age of 16 uniting with Church of God of Christ.

Georgia moved to East St. Louis in 1963 and later united in wedlock to Alvin White Sr.

Georgia departed this life on November 6, 2022 . She leave to cherish her memory her children, Larry Cummings, Jacqueline Cummings and Alvin White Jr.; siblings, Alberta Williams, James Smith, Florita George and Donald Smith; grandchildren, Cherry Cummings-Stanley, Erica Cummings, Darian Cummings, Daryle Hunter, Jr., Angela Hunter, Marquita Hunter, Dominick Hunter, Princess Edmonds-White, Aleshia White, Tontaneshia White, YeAlmonte Denzmore-Dozier, Alvoshia White, Jasmine White-Liddell, Alvin White III, Aynia White, and a host of great-grandchildren.
