Obituary

Ms. Georgia Mae Ball was born on March 22, 1946 to the union of Willie Ball, Sr and Lucille Ball in Drew, Mississippi. Both parents preceded her in death. She grew up and was educated in the school system of Mississippi. At the age of 15, she confessed a hope in Christ at the Apostolic Faith Church.

Georgia moved to the East St. Louis area in 1975. After moving here she united with Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was primarily a homemaker taking care and raising her family.

She departed this life on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 in Belleville, Illinois She was preceded in death by her son, Charlie Stower, siblings, Eliza Mae Brockman Townsand, Gertrude Ball, Leroy Ball and John Earl Ball, grandchildren, Charlie Brooks and Nortisha Ball.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Robert Ball, Charles Ball, Willie Ball and Arthur Ball; daughters, Amy Ball and Patricia (John) Ball; brothers, Willie Ball, Jr and Willie Charles Ball; sisters, Lucille (Ernold) Planton and Katherine (John) Brockman; a special loved one, Crystal Wyatt; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
