Obituary

Fredrick "Deuces" Tally was born on August 16, 1960, along with his twin brother, Cedrick in St. Mary's Hospital in East St. Louis, IL to the union of Robert Young and Margaret Ivy.

Fredrick attended Longfellow Elementary School and Rock Jr. High School. He graduated from East St. Louis Senior High School in 1978. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. He received an honorary discharge. Fredrick was baptized in 1979 by Rev. John H. Rouse at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Fredrick worked many jobs in culinary. He was a dedicated, reliable, and hard worker. When he was not working, his passion was riding the Metrolink and hanging out with his brothers, family and friends at Bennie Hill.

Fredrick was preceded in death by both parents, both paternal and maternal grandparents; six brothers, including his twin brother, Cedrick, who died at the age of three months old.

Fredrick entered into eternal life on November 18, 2023 . Fredrick leaves behind his son, Malik Simpson of East St. Louis, IL, daughter, Iesha (Kris) Vaughn of Belleville, IL; several grandchildren, three sisters, Fannie (Richard) Bolden of Fairview Heights, IL, Mary (Ollie) Rupert of West Point, MS, Margaret Marie Tally of Swansea, IL; two brothers, Arlington (Emily) Tally of Fairview Heights, IL and Otis Tally of East St. Louis, IL, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
