Frederick Rodgers was born on October 31, 1970 in East St. Louis, IL to Frederick Golden and Eula McGee. He resided in East St. Louis his entire life.

Frederick confessed his life to Jehovah at an early age uniting with Jehovah Witness Hall of East St. Louis, IL. He graduated from East St. Louis Senior High School.

Frederick departed this life on May 9, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Vicki Rodgers of Sparta, IL; his three children, the eldest being Frederick Rodgers, Jr; his mother, Eula McGee of Centreville, IL; father, Frederick Golden of East St. Louis; siblings Patricia (Alvin) White of Washington Park, IL, Laronda (Jerry) Gulley of Rockford, IL, Amos Winters of Centralia, IL, Keesha Rodgers of Centreville, IL, Marcos (LaNeta) McGee of Belleville, IL, Alfredo (Shanelle) McGee of Belleville, IL, Courtney (LaNina) McGee of Collinsville, IL; his devoted stepfather, Marco McGee of Granite City, IL, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
