Obituary

Mr. Freddie Larnell, Jr. who was affectionately called " June " or " Freddie the Feeloafer " was born on February 3, 1945 to the union of Ida and Freddie Larnell, Sr.

He received his formal education in East St. Louis District #189.  After graduation from high school, he was drafted in the U.S. Army.  Upon his discharge from the Army, Freddie went to work at McDonnell Douglas, Ameren UE, Alton Police Department and later worked at the Chase in St. Louis, Missouri as a security guard.

Freddie enjoyed fishing and was an avid baseball player.  On Wednesday, January 8, 2020 , he exchanged his bed of sickness for a life of joy and peace.

He leaves to mourn his passing, one son, Pierre Lyons;  one daughter, Adicia McNeese-Rayford;  granddaughters;  three brothers, Leonard (Ella Mae) Vann, Michael Larnell and Gregor (Brenda) Larnell;  three sisters, Pearl Washington, Barbara (James) Allen and Alma McGee;  a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
