December 16, 2020, Mr. Fred Moss Jr., entered the arms of the Lord. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Cor. 5:8).
Fred was born in Stamps, Arkansas to the union of Fred and Kathryn (Ferguson) Moss on March 4, 1942. He was reared and attended schools in the East St. Louis public school system. At a young age confessed a hope in Christ and diligently served the Lord.

On November 29, 1964, Fred joined in martial union with Miss Juanita Martin.  On August 11,1965 they became the parents of a baby girl, Angela Denise.  Fred met no stranger and put a smile on the face of everyone he met. He was a hard worker and great provider for his wife and daughter.

Fred leaves to mourn his passing and to cherish his memory, his wife of 56 years, Juanita Moss; one daughter, Angela Denise Smith-Blue of Belleville, Illinois; three lovely grandchildren; Michael Anthony Smith II, Caldonia Renae Blue, Kathryn Corine Blue; two nephews, Willie (Natalie) Kenton Jr., John F. (Cheryl) Haliburton, one niece, Stephanie N. Haliburton, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother; Fred and Kathryn Moss, two sisters; Betty Haliburton and Jo Ann Kenton, one step daughter; Jennie Nora Priggett.
