Fred Jackson, Jr., 65, the 4 ^th of 9 children, born May 11, 1953, to the union of Fred, Sr. and Elizabeth Jackson of East Saint Louis, IL.

Although never baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, during the last year of his life, Fred, Jr. showed deep appreciation for the things he had been taught during his youth.  He started to take a personal stand for Jehovah and began associating with the local congregation.  He talked with friends about what he was learning from the Bible and witnessed to his doctors about his stand when making decisions about his medical treatment. Like his father, Fred loved helping people and working on cars, he came to be known by many as the "Neighborhood Mechanic".

Fred, Jr. was preceded in death by his father Fred, Sr. and his sister Janet Jones.

Fred Jackson, Jr. leaves to cherish his memory 3 sons Tekerry Sayles, Antion Jones and Yukon Sayles; 1 daughter Miesha Jackson; 15 grandchildren; mother Elizabeth Jackson; 3 brothers MacArthur Jackson, Wendell  (Eileen) Jackson and Pierre Jackson; 4 sisters Irma (John) Frye, Cassandra Jackson, Marietta Sumrall and Gloria 'Fay' Jackson; 2 Aunts Ola Mae Owens and Lucy Jackson.  He leaves many who cherished him, children that lived in his home along with a host of relatives and friends.
