Frank Peppers,
Sr.
Jan 27, 1946 — Dec 15, 2017
Frank Peppers, Sr. was born on January 27, 1946 in Moro, Arkansas from the union of the late Wiley and Ora Peppers. He departed this world at 9:17 a.m., Friday, December 15, 2017.
A modern-day Renaissance Man, he was a master gardener and mechanic, earning degrees in auto body and auto mechanic repair while married to his beloved wife, Helen Peppers, who preceded him in death, and raising three children, Dr. Frank Jr., (Jun), Elliott (El) and Alexander (Alex), Esq. Also an avid outdoorsman and fisherman, he learned various manufacturing and machine trades as well as carpentry, minor construction and repair. It is during a maintenance job assignment he met his future bride. As the story goes, he yelled out one day on job doing repairs at his future wife's home. He said, "Helen, I need you!" and she replied, "What do you need?" He said, "I need you to marry me." Though, he had yet to taker her out on one date.
This is how he lived his life as a man of God, of honor, and action. If he promised to do something or help someone, there was no force that was going to keep him from his stated commitment.
He was a professional provider for his family. He was a family man. A loving husband and remarkable father. Working tirelessly day and night and weekends to provide organic fruits and veggies from the Peppers Garden; baking, cooking, grilling (even in winter or in downpours) to provide tasty nourishing foods. Maintaining house grounds immaculately and sacrificing selflessly to purchase and maintain vehicles for which each son had access once mature.
Always committed to God, church, neighbors and family, he took leadership roles first as a church deacon then an ordained minister. Even while incapacitated from a long-term illness, he continued to share his faith with others and always implored family to stay faithful to God and each other. His wife, Helen, father Wiley, mother Ora, and brothers, James and Don Jerry, Aunt Annie Payne, and cousin Blanch Payne, preceded him in death. He leaves behind, three sons; grandsons, Lucas and Johnathan; granddaughters, Michelle and Jasmine; a daughter-in-law, Melissa; brothers, David, Elijah, Wiley, Jr.; sisters, Betty, Bessie, Mary and Mabel; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
