Felicia Goodwin was born on May 4, 1966 in East St. Louis, IL to the union of James Butler and Annie B. McGill. She confessed a hope in Christ at a young age.

Felicia received her education in East St. Louis District #189. She united in holy matrimony to Earnest Goodwin on October 21, 1997 .

Felicia enjoyed thrift shopping, going junking, listening to music and dancing. She was always up for a good debate. Felicia adored her grandchildren and loved to cook spaghetti and peach cobbler.

Felicia departed this life on June 27, 2022 . She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Earnest Goodwin; sons Demerious McGill (Tawanika) and Quintin Dozier; daughters, Britney Stevenson, Earnestine Goodwin, and Ernisha Goodwin; 14 grandchildren, 1 unborn great-grandchild; two brothers, Kevin (Lawanda) McGill, Orlando (LaShawnda) McGill; her sister, Lashonda McGill; special niece, Latrice Clayborne; special nephews, Lamario Stewart and Nathaniel Stewart.
