Obituary

Everett Xavior Taylor, Sr. was born on February 19, 1961 in East St. Louis, IL to the union of Edward and Norma Taylor.

He was educated in East St. Louis Public Schools. He worked at a feed mill until he became disabled.

Everett was loved by many. He went by many names, "Bobo," "Zulu" or what many often heard him say, "Call me Zulu Regular."

Everett was a native of East St. Louis. He loved his family and friends on Goose Hill. Everett died from a terminal illness. He came to terms with his transition. Everett spent time telling stories and telling his nieces to take pictures of him. He did not complain.

Everett was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Everett X. Taylor, Jr.; and his brother, Quincy Taylor, Sr.

Everett departed this life on April 14, 2023 in Granite City, Illinois. He leaves to mourn his grandson, Everett X. Taylor III; sisters, Stephanie Wells, JoElla Clayton and Amy Taylor; brothers, Demetrus Taylor and James Taylor; step-siblings, Patricia Jackson, James Taylor, Cenola Taylor, Lonnie Taylor and Gregory "Duck" Parker; great aunts, Helen Cook and Betty Sewel; special cousin, Kevin Hudson; dear friend, Doug Ward, and a host of nieces nephews and other family and friends.
