Emijah Denise Wells was born on October 16, 2003 in East St. Louis, Illinois to Euresha Northington. Emijah was born with many complications but nothing that kept her down. Emijah lived a happy life and very fulfilling to her needs. Education started for her when she was 3. She attended Hazel Bland Promise Center; it was there she learned how to grasp life, exceeding many obstacles. She later registered at William ARD DeBell with more expectations that she prevailed in.

Born and raised in East St. Louis, Illinois, Emijah lived a great life to the best of her abilities. Emijah was born with many complications, but she was tough and never showed fear. She was such a eager and happy person ready to get going. Emijah's will to live progressed with the interaction she received from Hazel Bland Promise Center.

Although Emijah lived her life in a wheelchair, she was an adventurous girl. Emijah would get into just about anything and if there's food involved then she's definitely participating. It was all or nothing with Emijah, meaning she gave you all of her or she'll sleep on you ALL DAY. Such a BOSS doing what she wants.

Emijah departed this life on August 2, 2023. She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother ~ Euresha Northington; three little sister ~ Zhakeya, Zamirea and Jakelle; grandmother ~ Felicia; godmother ~ Teyonna; step-father ~ Jamaal; uncles ~ Euree, Euron and Earon; great aunts ~ Delicia, Jacqueline, Latoka, Christina and Latosha; great uncles ~ Walter and Khristopher; great-grandmother ~ Deloris Blaylock; grandfather ~ Euree Northington; great-grandfather ~ Walter Crosby, Jr.; and a host of great cousins and many other relatives whose life was touched by Emijah.
