Eddie Lee Adams (aka Squirrel) was born on June 8, 1948 in Scooba, Mississippi to the late Mary Ella Williams Adams and John Quincy Adams. He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age .

Eddie received his formal education through Luxora Arkansas Public School System. Eddie was self employed in club management for over 20 years. He was an active Zodiac emcee for many years. Eddie loved to go motorcycle riding.

Eddie was preceded in death by his 3 brothers, Carl, Johnnie, and Robert; 3 sisters, Mary, Fannie, and Mary Pearl, and one grandson Desmond.

Eddie departed this life on October 12, 2020 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois. He leaves to cherish his loving memory his 7 children, Eddie Lee (Jennifer) Adams Jr. of Troy, Illinois, Lawon Lachelle Paige of Fort Worth, TX, Monette Adams of Brownsville, TN, Anjolaca (Terrell) Graves of Bartlett, TN, Sherita (Joshua) Johnson of Arlington, TN, LaQuize McMath and Eddie Lee Sr. of East St. Louis, IL; 6 sisters Annie, Nellie, Dorothy (Reginald) Frances Neal, Rosie Shaw (Lester); 2 brothers Willie Lee Adams (Carol) and Saul Jenkins; 12 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
