Obituary

Life is but a self-written autobiography. Mr. Earle H. Williams began writing the pages of his "book of life" on March 26, 1956 . He was born to the union of the late Mr. Eugene and Mrs. Fannie (Randolph) Williams in Christian Welfare Hospital.

Looking through the pages of his life you'll learn that he was the third of six children born to this union and was preceded in death by his sister, Leanna Williams, two brothers, Eric and Virgil "Butch" Williams and his nephew, Shamario Williams. He also had two half brothers, Milton and Adrian Johnson. Milton preceded him in death.

The two most important pages were the pages written about Earle getting baptized and giving his life to Christ at a young age at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in East St. Louis, where he was active in Sunday school and the youth choir.

The pages on his accomplishments included him graduating from East St. Louis Senior High School in 1976, joining the United States Airforce, and  receiving his Commercial Driver's License. There is one chapter that talks about Earle having a son named Mario Williams by Regina from Buffalo, New York and you'll also read that he worked various jobs before being called home.

In his final chapter, the last thing you'll learn is how Earle fought with every breath in his body to try and stay here. But the good Lord thought differently and called him home on June 9, 2022 , from the Barnes Jewish Hospital, where he was blessed to be surrounded by family. He leaves to cherish, his son, Mario; two sisters, Cynthia McGee, and Bertha "Polly" McGee-Bey both of East St. Louis; a brother, Adrian Johnson of Oakland, California; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, classmates, and friends. We will see you again " Earle , Big Earle, Uncle Earle."
