Mr. Douglas Jones was born on December 3, 1948 in East St. Louis, Illinois to the union of Frank James and Beatrice Jones. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and sister, Ollie Mae Williams.
He was a lifelong resident of East St. Louis, receiving his education from School District #189. He worked various places during his lifetime, until his health started failing him. Doug departed this life on Sunday, November 20, 2016 in Belleville, Illinois.
Doug leaves to cherish his memory his godson, Isaiah Henderson; sister, Leola Carodine of Cleveland, MS; nieces and nephews, Beatrice Harris, Mayola McClain, Lawrence Williams, Bobbie McClain, Venson Williams and Larry Williams all of Springfield, IL, Ronald Williams of Killean, TX, Robert Wlliams of Suffulk, VA, Rhonda Williams of Nashville, TN and Geremy Carodine of Alexander City, AL; numerous other relatives and friends.
