Mr. Dominic McCoy was born on December 28, 2008 in Centreville, Illinois to Christopher Chairs and Doneisha McCoy. He received his education at East St. Louis Senior High School District #189.

Dominic was funny, quiet, easy going, hardworking, humble, caring, loving, and was grateful for everything. He enjoyed basketball and his family. Dominic was very persistent about working and he enjoyed hanging with his friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Ray Tyrone Barnes; his grandmother, Sharon Chairs (Lucy); aunts, Laverne Simmons, Marilyn Stanley, Lil Bay, Big Bay, and Carolyn.

On July 26, 2025, Dominic transition to eternal glory. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Doneisha McCoy; father, Christopher Chairs; stepfather, Mr. Jeremiah Dodd Sr., all of East St. Louis, Illinois; grandmother, Towanny McCoy of East St. Louis, Illinois; grandfather, Don Moore of East St. Louis, Illinois; 14 siblings, Anthony Clemons, Janiyah and Jeremiah Dodd Jr., Lil Chris, Janila, Keith, Tailor, Cortez, Tyrin, Christeun, Kris Chairs, Aaliyah Jones, Gloneisha Brown and Jaquez Mack along with a host of family and dear friends. Dominic will be greatly missed.
