Desiree Delores Samuel was born on December 26,1987 in Centerville, IL to the union of James and Velma Samuel . Desi was a jewel everywhere she went. People were drawn to her loving spirit .

Desiree accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. Scott at Mt. Calvary COGIC . As time went on, Desi would always be excited waiting on Bishop to pick her up on the church bus for Sunday service .

Desiree was a best friend to her sisters and especially her nieces, Andrea, Alicia and Fetrece , but she also shared a special bond with her nephews, great nieces and nephews. They did no wrong in her eyes.

Desiree was about family but most of all she was about her three boys. When it came to them she was a hero and the definition of Ms. Make It Happen!

Desiree graduated to her heavenly home on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 10:15am to join hands with her parents, Nephew Sean Redd and other relatives.

Desiree leaves to Cherish Her 3 Wonderful Boys Keshawn & Lashawn Hardy and Javonate McNeil Jr. All of East Saint Louis Il 2 Sisters Joann ( Andre) Rucker , Lisaa Samuel 1 Brother James Samuel ll all of East Saint Louis I'll 3 Nieces Andrea Rucker , Alicia Rucker , Fetrece Redd 4 Nephews Shontez Redd, James Samuel lll, Jamell Samuel, Andra Rucker Jr. and a host of other relatives cousins, aunts, uncles.
