Obituary

Denise Willis-Walker was born on October 2, 1959 in St. Louis, MO to Charlie "Shorty" Harden and Corine "Coty" Willis (both of whom preceded her in death). She confessed a hope in Christ and was baptized at 12 years old. Hallelujah!

Denise graduated from Lincoln Senior High School where she was a cheerleader. She attended SCC to further her education after having a baby at just 15 years old. She later married Mr. Michael Walker.

Denise a.k.a. "Lil Neecie" lived her life to the fullest. She lived life on her own terms and enjoyed herself. Denise had a big heart. She loved to watch children and clean up. Lil Neecie spent the last years of her life being a good sister and friend to Angela Brooks and her family. Denise may have been little and cute but she left a great impact on us.

Denise departed this life on March 3, 2026. She leaves to cherish her memory her only child, Kenyatta M. Willis; two god children, Gregory Anthony and Natasha Anthony; three brothers, William "Fudd" Willis, Charles (Dawn) Harden, and Marlon Harden; 4 sisters, Paula Graham, Edwana "Wanda" Harden-Collins, Rhondalyn Harden, and Stacy Harden; her grandchildren, Videl Jr and Keveion Akins; 4 great grandchildren, 1 god-grandson, King, son-in-law, Cortez Suggs, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and friends.
