Denise M. Gary was born on April 10, 1959 in East St. Louis, IL. to the union of T.C. and Bessie M. Horton. Both parents preceded her in death.

Denise attended elementary and high school in East St. Louis School District 189. She was married to James E. Gary, who has also preceded her in death, to this union, two children were born.

Denise was a very peaceful, kind, and friendly person to all that came in contact with her. After and lengthy illness, Denise departed this life Sunday, April 12, 2020.

Denise leaves to cherish her loving memory, her son, Marvin Samuel Gary (Heather) of Ocola, Florida and her daughter, Maria Natasha Gary of O'Fallon, IL; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild; five sisters, Shirley (Reggie) Beard, Maxine M. Willis, Paulette (Tony) Hill, Constance Harrell and Audrey (Michael) Byrd;  three brothers, Tyree (Adriane) Horton, Steve (Beverly) Horton and Rondae (Lula) Horton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

The family wishes to express our sincere appreciation for the cards and other expressions of sympathy extended during our time of bereavement.
