Danielle Devion Smith was born on September 19, 1982, in Centreville, Illinois, to Rhonda Smith and Ricky James. He transitioned from this life on October 15, 2026, at the age of 44.

Danielle was preceded in death by his biological father, Ricky James; his grandmother, Kay Frances Smith; his older brothers, William L. Smith and Edward R. Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Rhonda Smith and T.J. Doss, whom he knew as a father; his three children, Dan'Nesha R. Smith, Julion D. Smith, and Bella D. Smith; his three sisters, Victoria R. Smith, Veronica R. Smith, and TeAndrea J. Smith.

He also leaves his aunts, Romona Sykes and Olivia Herndon; his nieces, Erykah M. Harris and Heavenly R. Smith; his nephews, Edward D. Smith and Victor L. Smith; a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
