Dameon Jimelle Floore was born on November 10, 1976 to the union of Lannie Floore Dean and Howard Moore Jr. in Belleville, IL. He attended school in the East St. Louis School District #189. Dameon was a bright student and because of his intellectual abilities, he was selected to be a member of the Dream Program at Lilly-Freeman Elementary School. In addition to his education, he was introduced to Christ at an early age and maintained his faith throughout the course of his life.

Dameon was employed at Aliens Ads in Collinsville, IL for many years and was fondly received by management and his coworkers. He was gainfully employed there until the company relocated. Later, he acquired employment by CFA Staffing in Pontoon Beach, IL. Dameon was also formally trained in Welding Technology and Construction Management through Southwestern Illinois College.

Dameon possessed a beautiful personality and had an infectious smile and laugh. He was incredibly generous, would literally give you the shirt off his back. Dameon was the epitome of a family man. He vehemently loved his family and expressed his love for them every chance that he got. He was affectionately known by his family as "DayDay" or "Day" and "Grandad" by his friends. Day loved family get togethers and would often play dominoes with his uncles and cousins. DayDay was a phenomenal and devoted father and grandfather and took those roles very seriously. He was also very passionate about dogs and have raised and nurtured a great number of them over the course of his life.

On June 30, 2025, Dameon transitioned from this life suddenly surrounded by his loved ones. He joined hands in heaven with his maternal grandparents, William and Ernestine Floore and his paternal grandparents Howard and Dorothy Moore. Dameon was also welcomed to the heavn gates by his stepfather, Jeffrey Dean and grandmother, Maggie Dean.

To cherish his special memories, Dameon leaves his beloved mother, Lannie Floore-Dean, father, Howard (Jimmy/Cynthia) Moore; children, Dameon Floore., Daveon Miller and Journei Seay; one grandson, Daylen Jimelle Floore; two brothers, Darius (Renee) Floore, Marco (Capucine) Smith; a special younger brother, Kearron "Bo" Prude; eight bonus brothers, Demonde Crisp, Kimo Davis, Al Stewart Sr., Kindrick Johnson, Torcus Boone, Mondo George, Raymond Weatherby and Rubin "Sweet Pea" Stringer; two sisters, Chandra Stringfellow and Amosnee "Star" Davis; one great aunt, Martha Young; three maternal aunts, Gail Nicholson, Marquita Floore and Felicia Floore-Williams; six uncles, Patrick (Janet) Campbell, William "Tee" Floore, Pierre (Mary Ann) Floore, William "Larry" Floore, George (Tisha) Floore and Carnell Tunstall and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, god brothers, god sisters and friends.
