Cynthia Lee Conner was born on February 18, 1947 to George and Pauline Tillie in St. Louis, Missouri. She was raised by her uncle and aunt, Louis and Mary Jones. Cynthia was Derrick Moore's soulmate/spiritual husband for 47 years.

Cynthia accepted Christ at an early age. She attended East Lively Stone Church and was baptized under the pastorate of Bishop James Pittman.

Cynthia attended East St. Louis Public Schools. She worked as a domestic engineer. Cynthia shared a life with Derrick Moore and to this union two children were born.

Cynthia was the most loving and caring person. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She loved her family with all her heart. She always has a good conversation for you. She loved to drink her coffee, watch the news, read and most of all cherish her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her children had the most unusual nicknames for her like Cheryl and Grandmother Zeroni. She loved to cook. Her most favorite dish was spaghetti. Her favorite pastime was watching John Wayne movies. Overall Cynthia loved a simple life.

Cynthia was like a mother to many. She was a very kindhearted person that had so much love to give. She will always be in our hearts.

Cynthia Lee Tillie Conner departed this life on December 2, 2018 and went home to rest. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Pauline Tillie; caregivers, Louis and Mary Jones and four siblings, Louis Jones Jr., Marcella Sherrod, Maxine Anderson and Deborah Moore. She leaves to cherish her memories Derrick Moore (soulmate and spiritual husband); 2 daughters, Ungela and Melinda Moore; son, Deves Parram; five grandchildren, Sierra DeWalt, Suncerea DeWalt, Roderick Dewalt, Ebony Fortner and Jalen Fortner; 3 great grandchildren, Devin DeWalt, Jai'Ceon Turner and Asia Hardy; 3 brothers, James Jones, Marvin Jones (Beverly), Lorenzo Jones (Reynall); 3 sisters; Lorraine Hutchins (Carl), Amanda Jones and Wanda Jones; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and family and friends.
