Curtis J. Nunn was born to the union of Ozzie and Ella Mae (Daniels) Bunn on December 12, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Curtis received his education in East St. Louis School District #189. At the young age of 17, he accepted Christ, which was a life changing event. His walk with Christ took him through different positions and elevations, until he became a pastor of Cathedral Temple.

Curtis was well known and liked by all. He was preceded in death by his parents. On Saturday, March 24, 2018, the Lord said, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Curtis answered his Father's call.

Curtis leaves to cherish his memory his children, Donteaus Lee, Deonte Reed, Detonia Reed, Justin Hamiel, Erin Hamiel, Traivion Scott and Kenyatta Floyd; adopted mother, Mattie Green; numerous grandchildren; siblings, James Daniels, Tonya Brown and Gawaine Brown; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
