Creola Walker was born January 12th, 1935 to the union of Mosie and Lennie Gully in Gostein, Mississippi. Her family migrated to East St. Louis in 1951. Creola met and married the late Albert Walker. To that union, four beautiful children were born; Albert Walker, Jr., Rick Walker, Marie Walker, who preceded them in death at the tender age of 1 and Carol Walker.

Creola was a homemaker who loved family. She was an avid cook, who enjoyed cooking for family and friends. She enjoyed fishing, family gatherings and spending time with family and friends. She was a mother figure to many.

Creola fell asleep sweetly in the arms of Jesus on Sunday, September 17th, 2017 at 9:30pm. She was also preceded in death by her mother, father and siblings, Tyson Gully, Lee-Van Gully, Fulton Gully and Terry Gully.

She leaves to cherish her memory, three children, Albert Walker,Jr. of Centreville, IL, Rick (Margie) Walker of Centreville, IL and Carol Walker of Alorton, IL; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; her siblings, Ted (Patricia) Gully of Kansas City, MO, Donell Gully of Centreville, IL, Randolph (Sally Ann) Gully of East St. Louis, IL, Kate (James) McCullough of Tracie, CA, Nixrene (Spencer) Hughes, Glendia (Melvin) Spencer, Lendia (Edwin) Walker of Centreville, IL and Darrell (Ann) Gully of Belleville, IL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
