Cortez Antionne McCray Jr. made his entrance on August 10, 1994 in East St. Louis, Illinois to Cortez McCray and Kutanna Moore. He is the eldest of 13 children.

Cortez professed his hope in Christ at an early age. He was one that feared God and he was a prayerful young man.

Cortez received his formal education in the East St. Louis School District #189. He was an honor roll student. Every years his sport was basketball. He worked jobs in productions.

Cortez was vibrant, vivacious and characteristically funny; but on the other hand he was calm, cool, and collect. He never disrespected his elders. He spent much time and care in keeping his appearance up. With the style of a "movie star", he dressed to impress. Tez was an achiever, a hard-worker, and a fast thinker.

Mr. Cortez Antionne McCray Jr. made his departure on April 15, 2019 and went home to rest. He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Kutanna Moore and his father, Cortez McCray, Sr.; two sisters, Corteisha and Dominesha; four brothers, Dontez McCray, Charles Harrison, Goritil and Robert Spells; his grandparents, Marilyn Youngbear, Goritil Spells Jr., Johnnie McCray and Yvonne McCray; 7 aunts, two unces, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, saints and friends.
