Carroll Marquita Bell was born on March 17, 1980 to the late Darryl Dillard and Marvel Bell in Centreville, Illinois. She was raised in the popular known area of "Goose Hill" and educated in East Saint Louis Senior Class of 1999.

Carroll confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at the North End Missionary Baptist Church. Carroll was a very faithful serving in several youth groups within the church. As she grew, so did her faith and love for God.

Carroll had a special gift for assisting other which led her into a career of healthcare. She worked several years as a Certified Nurse Assistant and Phlebotomist at Quest Diagnostic.

Carroll was blessed with a baby girl who she loved dearly and named Kay'Lee. Carroll wanted more for them both, so she moved to Frankfort, Kentucky in 2018 to further her Psychology from Kentucky State University in 2021. Carroll was currently employed with Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services.

Carroll departed this life on Monday, September 27, 2021 in Frankfort, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her father, Darryl Dillard; her maternal grandparents, James and Ruth Bell; her paternal grandparents, Fred and Gladys Moore-Dill ard; two aunts, Mary Ann Williams McCullar and Janice Marie Dillard Pearson; three uncles, Robert Bell, Fred Dillard, Jr. and Tarkus Dillard.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter ~ Kay'Lee S. Bell-Brown; her mother ~ Marvell Bell; her brother ~ Xavier Dillard; two nieces ~ Za'Khya Dillard and Za'Khyra Dillard; one nephew ~ Kai Dillard; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
