Camilla Garner was born on April 14, 1944 in East St. Louis, Illinois to Anderson Roberts and Annie Mae Garner. Camilla confessed a hope in Christ uniting with Southern Mission Baptist Church.

Camilla graduated from Lincoln High School in 1962. She retired from The State of Illinois as a Payroll clerk.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Anderson Roberts and Annie Mae Garner; sisters, Hattie Boyd, Jerri Hicks and Emma Jones; brother, Eugene Garner; son, Anton Garner; spouse, Eugene Hudson.

Camilla departed this life on March 24, 2025. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Antoinette Garner; grandchildren, Rickeia (Diante) Willis and Kerry Moore, Jr.; sister, Joan Garner; great grandchildren, Haylee Willis, Ariel Willis, Marquees McKinney, Kasey Moore, Londyn Moore-Battle, Amara Moore, Kyrie Moore, Kezari Moore, Jennie Young, Kerry Moore III, and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
