Obituary

Bridget Elaine Jackson was born on December 18, 1965 in Houston, Texas to the union of Joe Lewis Wingate and Linnetta Cotton. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Rev. Clark of Christ United Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a choir member. She later became a member of New Shinning Light where she served as a cook in Venice, IL. Bridget graduated from Lincoln Senior High in District 189.

Bridget departed this life on October 1, 2020. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband Vincent Jackson, son Vincent Wingate, daughters Linnetta Jackson, Brittney "Cartez" Beard, and Jahnelle Tillman; grandchildren Lourionna Wingate, MarTeyah Custer, LaDarius Estes, DaMarius Jackson, Budget Custer, Vashayd Wingate, Traveon Jackson, Rashad Joshway, and Terry "T2" Ellick; her siblings; her special friend of 30 years John Tillman; 3 aunts Mary Ann Floore, Carla Dunn, and Genola Gaddis; two uncles, Anthony Robinson and Darryl Clark, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
