Obituary

Brandon Terrell Hudson was born on November 11, 1988, in Belleville, IL, to Randy L. Williams and Mona E. Hudson-Green. He later moved to East St. Louis, where he received his formal education.

He attended John Robinson Elementary School and later an alternative school to continue his education. During his youth, Brandon played football with the Little Knights, finding joy and passion in the sport despite challenges within the school system. To support himself, he worked in the quick service restaurant field and later as a construction laborer at Cash Scrap Metal and Iron in St. Louis, MO.

In December 2006, Brandon welcomed his only child, Nyla A. Hudson, into the world. He was proud to be a father and committed to providing her with love and stability.

At 18, Brandon faced a major challenge when he was incarcerated. Despite the hardships of being young and unable to fully experience life outside, he displayed remarkable courage and resilience. While incarcerated, he earned his GED, refusing to let his circumstances define him. His unwavering strength and determination kept him focused on growth and hope.

During this difficult time, he rekindled an unbreakable bond with his long-time friend and now wife, Jamie Hudson. Their relationship, built on love, trust, and perseverance, became a source of mutual strength. They leaned on each other through life's ups and downs, inspiring one another to stay hopeful and resilient.

Brandon and Jamie were united in marriage on May 16, 2021. Their marriage is a testament to their enduring love and unwavering support. Each has been each other's strength, helping to heal wounds and build a future rooted in hope, faith, and mutual respect.

Brandon's journey shows that true strength is measured by the ability to stand tall, keep fighting, and hold on to hope. His resilience, courage, and heart continue to inspire him to pursue a better life for himself and his loved ones.

Brandon departed this life on July 6, 2025. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Jamie Laura Chonte Hudson; his daughter, Nyla Alexandria Hudson; parents, Mona E. Hudson-Green and Lynn N.
