Obituary

Blondell Lillian (nee White) born July 6, 1925 in East St. Louis, IL to the union of Levi and Delilah Murray White. Blondell was one of two children to that union. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ted, and son James Jr.

Blondell was joined in holy matrimony on June 23, 1945 to James F. Morgan Sr. To this union two children were born, James Jr. and Cherie. Blondell was a very devoted and loving mother.

Blondell accepted Christ under the leadership of Brother Ralph Smith at Centreville Church of Christ, where she served in various areas of the church.

Blondell Morgan graduated from Lincoln High School in 1943. She attended Tucker Beesenes College in St. Louis, MO where she received her degree in bookkeeping. She was later employed by Johnson Construction Co. as a bookkeeper and retired in 1987, but refused to completely retire, she joined the AARP work program and retired again in 2000. Blondell then became the queen of crossword puzzles until her passing.

Blondell Morgan transitioned from this life on December 21, 2020. She is survived by her daughter Cherie Conrad; daughter-in-law Johnetta Morgan; grandchildren Marlon Morgan, Gena (Eric) Hobbs; Dewonnia Green; great-grandchildren Marlon II (Jeni) Charmaine, Jerome, Randy, Audrey, Eric Jr., Cool Papa; five great-grandchildren; special friends Thelma Falconer and Elizabeth Banks.
