Banikike Mechelle Dixon known as "Nicky" of Madison, Illinois was born on April 25, 1974 in St. Louis, Missouri to Billy and Jean Dixon. She gained her wings on Sunday, September 29, 2019. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Diamond Dixon; her son, Nicholas Alford; both her grandfathers and her maternal grandmother.

Nicky received her education in the East St. Louis School District #189. For twenty plus years, she worked for Busch Stadium in some form or capacity and she loved her Stadium Family just as much as her Blood Family.

If she wasn't at work, she was somewhere enjoying life with family and friends. You couldn't keep Nicky from being the life of the party or    having company. She enjoyed everyone even when she didn't feel like being bothered. She kept a house full.

She might only have one biological child living but whatever child came in her door became hers. She had a load of bonus kids.

Nicky leaves to cherish her memory: her paternal grandmother ~ Ernestine Dixon of Madison, Illinois; parents ~ Billy and Jean Dixon of Venice,   Illinois; fiancé ~ Jeff Christakos of St. Louis, Missouri; two sons ~ Samuel Alford of Madison, Illinois and Virgle Alford of St. Louis, Missouri; three daughters ~ RoShondrea (Randal) Bailey of St. Louis, Missouri, Chelsey Alford of Collinsville, Illinois and Breonna Harris of Granite City, Illinois; two brothers ~ William Dixon and Joseph Dixon of Granite City, Illinois; sister ~ Jeanine Dixon of Granite City, Illinois; six grandsons; two granddaughters; a host of other sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
