Obituary

At. 4:30 p.m. on January 18, 2017, Little Tristan Devine Legrone entered this world at Gateway Regional Hospital to his proud parent, BriAna Legrone. Tristan was named by his grandfather and shared his middle name, "Devine" in honor of his uncle. Although, Tristan's life was short-lived, he still made an impact on all that met him. He brought joy, happiness and love into everyone's life. And, he truly loved his mother. Only being (3) months old, he was in control of who he wanted to be around him. If, he didn't want to be held or touched you'd know it. He would cry, even start fussing and would spit up on you, then turn around—look at you and start to laugh. \

He enjoyed being read to and storytelling. He enjoyed the time spent with his cousins, Imani and Arrielle, especially when they sang and put him on snap-chat! But, this was our little Tiger and Porkchop as he was affectionately called. He was born before his time. And, certainly left footprints of love on our hearts!

On Saturday, May 6, Tristan slipped into a coma and was given just a few hours. But, the hours turned into a few days. He remained in a coma. But, didn't leave until he opened his eyes to see his mother one more time. Tristan earned "his" angel wings, when he slipped from his mother's arms into the arms of God on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 8:30pm.

Tristan has been greeted into heaven by his great grandparents, uncles Anthony Ballard and Q. Devine Lawrence. He'll forever by remembered by his mother, BriAna Legrone; grandfather, Darryl Legrone, grandmother, Brenda Hibbler; great-grandmother, Janice Turner; aunts, Shontay Robinson, Tamara Wooten, Monica Van; great-aunts, Wyommie (Kevin) Walker, Sharon (Darrell) Robinson, Marilyn Truitt, Karen (Larry) Sanders, Cheryl Lawrence, Patricia Hibbler, Lenora Hibbler, Bernice Legrone, Anita Legrone and Lavoria Legrone; uncles, James Ballard, Johnny and Terry Caswell; godparents, Mins. Sheila (Ronzell) Williams; special cousins, Imani Andrews, Arrielle Hutson, Shyla Truitt, Latrina Griffin and Phierra Legrone; special friends, Mr. Gettis and special god uncle Mr. Pepper; many cousins, friends and other family that will forever hold him in their hearts.
