Obituary

Auntreneatia Moore was born on June 12, 1952 unto the union of Mae Otis Griffin and Johnny Donald in Preston, Mississippi. She was the youngest of 8 children. She graduated from Whisenton High School in 1970 where she was one of the best basketball players on her team.

Auntreneatia was baptized at a young age by Elder Luther Moore.

Auntreneatia was a Garment Care Technician at Lee Ann Furs for five years. She was part owner and operator of State Street Square for twenty five years.

Auntreneatia was a fan of the Cardinals baseball team. She enjoyed cowboy movies, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed hosting family night with her children and grandchildren. She was a nurturer to many and was well known for her kind heart, southern home cooked meals and beautiful smile.

Auntreneatia was united in Holy Matrimony to Willie A. Moore on August 26, 1971. Unto this union, four children were born.

Auntreneatia completed her life's journey on June 20, 2021 and went home to rest. She was preceded in death by both parents, one sister, four brothers and one grandson; Willie Jackson-Moore

Auntreneatia leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Willie A. Moore; five daughters; Kimyetta Williams (Ronnell), Kautauschia Moore (Rodney), Kasheburell Moore, Narticia Long, and Angela Jones, one son; Kuhio Moore, one niece/daughter; Kushonna Moore-Cooper and two honorary sons Ernest Spiller Jr. and James Spiller, one sister; Mae Young and one brother; Oneal (Deborah) Clayborne, ten grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, family and friends.
