Arvie Weathers was born on April 1, 1935 in Tallahatchie, Mississippi to Jeff McGee and Inez Carter.

Arvie confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and attended St. Peter's Church.

Arvie enjoyed watching western movies and wrestling. He also enjoyed fixing on cars.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Louise Weathers; sons, Johnnie Weathers and Jimmie Lee Weathers; daughters, Corine Weathers and Lourine Weathers; grandson, Cornelius Weathers.

Arvie departed this life on August 3, 2026. He leaves to cherish his loving memory his children, Inez A. Weathers, Larry Weathers, Curtis Weathers, John Weathers, and Obbar Weathers Jr.; grandchildren, Canezella Weathers, Leroy Weathers, Jr., Jimmiecia Weathers, Jimmie Lee Weathers Jr., Jaivon Weathers, Jeremy Weathers, JaQuinn Weathers, Arvie Weathers Jr., Natasha Weathers, Dynisha Weathers, Leroy Weathers, Ar'Mon Weathers, Jazaya Weathers, Jhane Weathers, Tiesha Weathers; siblings, Loye Carter, John Carter, Margaret Carter, Alberta Carter, and Ethel Shaw; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
