Anthony Robinson was born on April 24, 1953 in East St. Louis, IL to the union of Theodore Robinson and Essie Mae Clark. He was baptized at an early age at Southern Mission Baptist Church. He later united with New Life Community Church.

Anthony received his education in the East St. Louis School District #189. He later served in the U.S. Army.

Anthony is preceded in death by his two sisters Linnetta and Eavon; three brothers James, Keith and Gilbert.

Anthony departed this life on September 15, 2021 . He leaves to cherish his memory his son Anthony (Alicia) Paulette; grandchildren Nicola Hodges, Dwauna Paulette, Anthony Paulette Jr.; great-grandson, Tyler Hodges; siblings Mary Ann (Pierre) Floore, Carla Dunn, Daryl Clark; aunt Genola (Henry) Gaddis, a special friend Debbie Thomas and her children (Ebony, William and Brandy); a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and many friends.
