Andrew L. Penn was born on March 17, 1958 in St. Louis, MO to the union of Andrew L Penn Sr. and Mary Penn. The family later moved to East St Louis, IL. He confessed a hope in Christ uniting with New Life Community Church.

Andrew is preceded in death by his wife Jacquelyn Penn and his brother, Maurice.

Andrew departed this life on June 4, 2023 . He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Mariah, Demarcus, Chico, and Andrew; stepdaughter, Colice; brothers, John, Troy, Mike, Carl, William, Marion, and Tony; 10 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, co-workers, and friends.
