Alphonso Davis was born on July 10, 1983 in Greenwood, Mississippi to Walter and Lillie Davis. The family moved to East St. Louis, IL in 1984. He confessed a hope in Christ the early age of 5. Alphonso graduated from East St. Louis Senior High School.

Alphonso is preceded in death by his father, Walter Davis; brother, Walter Davis Jr.; niece, Kimora Davis, and cousin Mark Williams Sr.

Alphonso departed this life on March 2, 2023 . He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Lillie Davis; sisters, Chaquita Davis, Teirra Davis, Virdie Davis, Donna Davis, Ashley Gillis, Michelle Gillis, and Latoya Gillis; brothers, Luther Davis and Kevin Harrell; brother-in-law, Latreal Eiland; children, Alexius Nicole Reynolds, Deaja May, Imani Camper, and Ivan Ramirez; grandchildren, Audrey Briscoe and Amir Briscoe; nieces, Ciera Jenkins, Yazmine Allen, Tianna Eiland, Taraji Eiland, and Journey Whitting; nephews, Devin Davis, Jedon Ward, TreMarion Eiland, TreVontea Eiland, and a host of aunts, cousins, and friends.
