Alonzo Ward was born on February 14, 1991 in Centreville, IL to Alzada Bassett and George Ward III. He confessed a hope in Christ at a young age uniting with Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. Alonzo attended Mitchell High School in Memphis, Tennessee.

Alonzo departed this life on February 12, 2024 . He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Alzada Bassett; his brothers, Marshawn Williams and Marques (Sheredith) Bassett; children, Alonzo Ward, Jr., Xaviar Ward, Alijah Ward, Navia Ward, Khalil Ward, Isaac Ward, Isaiah Ward, all of East St. Louis, IL; grandmothers, Gloria Richards and Shirley Ward; his fiancé, Kenisha Thomas; his children's mothers, Santosha Scott and Natasha Wilbert; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
