Allen Nicholson, Jr. was born on February 7, 1959 to Allen Nicholson, Sr. and Marie Nicholson, both of whom preceded him in death, in East St. Louis, Illinois.

Allen Nicholson, Jr. was the second born out of nine children unto Marie Nicholson. Allen Nicholson, Jr. gained the nickname Nick as a small child.

Allen Nicholson, Jr. attended East Side High in East St. Louis, Illinois. Upon completion he worked a host of jobs over the years. "Nick," as he was known, Allen Nicholson, Jr. had a passion for singing in the church choir, skating and interior decorating.

Nick has united with his sisters, Karen Sue and Melanie Yvonne; and brother, Tevan (Terry).

He leaves behind two sons ~ Allen Nicholson III and Maurice Washington and family; three brothers ~ Jeremy, Glen and Robert Nicholson; two sisters ~ Carla Nicholson and Regina Stennis; two half sisters ~ Meshonda Nicholson and Angelic Lee; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Nick made a lasting impression on those he left behind.
