Mr. Albert was born on June 13, 1938 in Rossville, Tennessee to the late Jack A. Atkins Sr. & Hulda Maxwell who both preceded him in death. Albert was the baby of four children and sister Bessie Rives, and Hannah Hawthorne and brother Jack Atkins all proceed him in death. Albert received his education in District 189. Albert served the military (army). He was able to see the world and serve our country. (Thank You) we salute you for that. A strong and hard-working man. Albert retired from Edwardsville college after several long years. Albert Loved to eat and soul food was his favorite. If you were cooking and invited him he would show up. He would also show up the next day if you had left overs. He loved to eat. His family loved too cook and it was food to his soul. Albert made the best of his own life till the end as best as he could with love and support from his family, friends, as well as associates. Mr. Albert Atkins leaves his loving memory: 2 sons Reggie and Trent Atkins and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones who cherish him dearly.
